According to F4WOnline.com, former WWE wrestlers “Big” Vito Lograsso and Evan Singleton, known as Adam Mercer in WWE developmental, have filed a class-action ‘concussion’ lawsuit against WWE.
The suit was filed in the state of Pennsylvania, and the men are being represented the attorney who represents former WWE Superstar Billy Jack Haynes, who also has an ongoing suit against the company for similar reasons as Lograsso and Singleton.
Singleton’s complaint claims after wrestling 15 matches for WWE, he sustained “multiple traumas”, including a serious head injury after wrestling Erick Rowan.
Singleton alleges WWE cleared him to continue wrestling after “inadequate rest time” and says WWE downplayed his injury to get him back int he ring. He was eventually released from his developmental deal and now suffers from “severe neurological symptoms.”
As for Vito Lograsso, he claims he suffers from “serious neurological damage, including severe headaches, memory loss, depression and anxiety, as well as deafness” as a result of his time competing in a WWE ring.
