In a decision that should have been made ten years ago, “Macho Man” Randy Savage will be a member of the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame class. The company is working on a new Savage documentary and match collection, his brother Lanny Poffo has signed off on the induction, and despite their controversial history, the “Immortal” Hulk Hogan will induct the man who was perhaps his greatest rival.
VIVA DEL RIO, VIVA LUCHA
Former WWE Champion, current AAA World Champion and professional MMA fighter Alberto del Rio (aka El Patron) has officially signed a contract with Lucha Underground. He wrestled his first match at Saturday’s TV taping, which will air at some point in February. Del Rio is still signed with Ring of Honor for several dates, including a new show all the way through April.
