Nassau Coliseum, Long Island, New York
Attended the house show at the Nassau Coliseum tonight. Show started with an announcement that last night in MSG Randy Orton was injured and would not be competing in the tag team main event tonight, therefore it will now be a 2 on 1 handicapped street fight with Kane and Seth Rollins vs John Cena
Show stars with Sami Zayn defending the NXT Title against Adrian Neville. Good pop for Zayn and some great spots by both men. Zayn picks up the win with the Helluva kick and the pin.
Next match is Fandango with Rosa vs Ryback. Crowd was really into Ryback. Fandango with some offense but mostly all Ryback including a suplex where he held fandango up in the ring for at least a minute plus before executing the suplex. Ryback wins with Shell Shocked
Next match is Jack Swagger vs Curtis Axel. Axel really playing the heel to the crowd. Swagger wins with the Patriot Lock.
IC Title on the line next. Dolph Ziggler who gets a huge pop vs Luke Harper. Typical match that we have seen with these two in recent weeks. Only difference was Ziggler during the match hits the woo woo woo in honor of Zack Ryder and the broski boot and finishes off Harper with the Zig Zag for the win.
Tag titles on the line. Usos vs Miz and Mizdow. Crowd went nuts for Mizdow. His usual antics with the falling over the top rope and taking all the bumps Miz took. Crowd ate it up. Match ends with mizdow tagging himself in and hitting the Skull Crushing finale for the win as Miz looked on.
Rowan vs Big Show was next and kind of boring. Crowd was sorta dead for this one, after Santino came out and bored them with a Christmas poem. Big Show wins with the knockout
Next was the Bellas who looked incredible vs Emma and Alicia in a Santas Helper match with special guest referee Paige. Paige was doing alot of comedy stuff including counting the Bellas down quick and taking her time with Fox and Emma and in the end screwed Brie with a fast 3 count giving the win to Alicia and Emma. Crowd was not happy about that at all.
Main Event was Cena vs Kane and Rollins in the street fight. Pretty good match with no tags and no rules. Cena kicked out of every move including the Curb Stomp which has to be the first time I have seen anyone kick out of it. Rollins and Kane both avoided tapping out to the STF. There where tables and chairs and even stairs involved in this one but the end came when Orton’s music hit and he hit RKO’s on both Rollins and Kane allowing Cena the AA on Kane for the pin. Cena left the ring for Orton and Orton posed with the crowd. and sent them home happy.
Next show is March 1st at the coliseum. Arnold Skaaland’s wife was in attendance and got hugs and kisses from Cena and Orton.
