According to PWInsider.com, former NWA Champion “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce officially announced his pro wrestling retirement at a Championship Wrestling Hollywood TV taping today in California.
Pearce faced Colt Cabana at the taping, and then announced his retirement.
Recently, Pearce has been traveling to Orlando to work as a special guest trainer and producer for NXT. Pearce’s most recent work included producing the NXT Takeover R Evolution special, so it’s always possible, but not confirmed, that he could be heading to work for WWE full-time.
