-Backstage, Sami Zayn says he’s feeling great after that win over Tyler Breeze. He calls himself the Count of Monte Cristo, and talks about his journey back to the NXT Championship. He tells Neville that he wants a shot at the title next week.
SASHA BANKS & BECKY LYNCH vs. BAYLEY & CHARLOTTE
So I guess Charlotte is basically in full babyface mode now.
Becky Lynch attacks Bayley from behind to get this one started. She tags in Sasha, but Bayley hits her with a suplex and tags in the Women’s Champ. Sasha begs for mercy, but ends up rolling outside and tags in her partner. Charlotte beats down on Lynch instead, throwing her around the ring and attacking with knife-edge chops in the corner. She gets in a dozen knee lifts and slows down into a front-facing headlock. Charlotte throws Becky into the heel corner and dares Sasha to tag in, kicking away at Lynch and staring down Banks. Eventually Sasha takes a cheap shot from behind and now the heels double team her. Bayley makes the hot tag and trades rights with Lynch. Sasha tags in and puts her in the Figure Four headscissors, mocking the champ. The assault continues with the ref keeping Charlotte at bay, for a few minutes. Bayley almost comes back, but is taken down by a wicked lariat. Lynch goes to the floor and attacks the champ from behind, while Sasha rolls up Bayley with a hanful of tights for the 1-2-3.
