According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is currently no timetable for Daniel Bryan‘s pro wrestling return, and reports that are speculating on when he may be back in the ring are just that, speculations.
While Bryan did post on Instagram last week that he was determined to get back in time for WrestleMania 31, it was also announced by WWE at this week’s Smackdown taping that he would need an additional surgery on his elbow.
There are also reports from fans who met Bryan at an autograph signing, that have said there is a significant difference in the muscle mass in his left and right arms. The healthy arm (his left) has retained its shape, while the right is smaller, as he lost strength in it after a neck surgery earlier this year.
WWE originally hoped to have him back for the Royal Rumble PPV in January, and possibly sooner if it was found that he did not require a second operation. Since then, he has been attempting to regain strength in his right arm via rehab, but the process hasn’t been going as well as they need it to.
