WWE has released the full schedule for Smackdown Week on the WWE Network:
MONDAY, OCT. 6
11:06 p.m. – Edge and Christian’s 15th Anniversary SmackDown Show that Totally Reeks of Awesomeness (immediately following Raw)
In honor of SmackDown’s 15th Anniversary, one of WWE’s most entertaining duos reunites for a look back at the show that changed the face of broadcast television. Join Edge and Christian for a trip down memory lane and relive some of SmackDown’s greatest moments.
TUESDAY, OCT. 7
9:00 p.m. – SmackDown Episode 1 (full episode)
On the Network Premiere of Smackdown, newly crowned WWE Champion Triple H defends the title against The Rock with special guest referees Shawn Michaels and Shane McMahon. Also, Shane McMahon battles Mankind, Big Boss Man and Al Snow battle for the Hardcore Championship, and Stephanie McMahon answers a marriage proposal from Test.
10:30 p.m. – The Return of Piper’s Pit
Classics never die as the notorious “Rowdy” Roddy Piper brings back another edition of “Piper’s Pit” after 14 long years. And with Mr. McMahon as the featured guest, controversy is guaranteed.
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 8
10:00 a.m. – SmackDown Episode 49 (full episode)
Just 24 hours after a controversial Fully Loaded, Commissioner Mick Foley looks to make things right as he gives WWE Champion The Rock a shot at payback on Kurt Angle. With the help of Shane McMahon, Big Show unveils a new attitude.
11:40 a.m. – The Rock Meets Booker T (Highlight from SmackDown Episode 102)
With The Alliance breathing down the neck of WWE, The Rock returns and comes face to face with WCW Champion, Booker T in an encounter sparking their rivalry.
2:30 p.m. – Eddie Guerrero Waste Management (Highlight from SmackDown Episode 216)
The rivalry between the Big Show and Eddie Guerrero gets more than a little messy when Show is treated to a special shower courtesy of Latino Heat.
5:00 p.m. – SmackDown Episode 99 (full episode)
With ECW and WCW working together as The Alliance, Mr. McMahon asks “Stone Cold” Steve Austin to change his leadership strategy going into Invasion. But when The Rattlesnake takes exception, WWE Superstars may have to stand alone against The Alliance’s best. Also, Chris Jericho battles Lance Storm, Kane faces Rhyno, and The Undertaker teams with Kurt Angle to take on Shane McMahon and Diamond Dallas Page in the main event.
6:30 p.m. – Mr. McMahon Joins a Special Club (Highlight from SmackDown Episode 120)
After forcing superstars to join his “Kiss My A** Club,” Mr. McMahon learns the hard way that what goes around, comes around when The Rock has special place for the Chairman’s lips.
8:00 p.m. – SmackDown Episode 150 (full episode)
An Olympic hero is on a quest for gold as Kurt Angle challenges The Undertaker for the WWE Championship. Edge realizes a childhood dream as he teams with Hulk Hogan to battle Billy and Chuck for the Tag Team Titles. After making his debut the week prior, John Cena looks to prove himself once more when he faces Chris Jericho.
9:30 p.m. – SmackDown Episode 256 – A Night No One Will Ever Forget (full episode)
In one of the most epic main events in SmackDown history, Eddie Guerrero challenges John “Bradshaw” Layfield for the WWE Championship inside a steel cage. After being stripped of the United States Championship, John Cena is on a quest to regain his title. However, SmackDown GM Kurt Angle stacks the deck against the former champion by placing him in 3-on-1 Handicap Match.
THURSDAY, OCT. 9
8:30 a.m . – Mr. America Lie Detector Test (Highlight from SmackDown Episode 197)
Mr. McMahon’s quest to determine the true identity of Mr. America is finally resolved as this masked hero is forced to take a lie detector test.
11:30 a.m. – Billy & Chuck Commitment Ceremony (Highlight from SmackDown Episode 160)
In one of the most controversial moments in WWE history, SmackDown plays host to the commitment ceremony of Billy and Chuck.
2:30. p.m. – Eddie Embarrasses Kurt Angle (Highlight from SmackDown Episode 258)
Eddie Guerrero shows the WWE Universe that he will go to any lengths in his rivalry with Kurt Angle as he hosts a special auction of the Olympic hero’s most prized possessions.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
