WWE Trying to Keep Indy Away from WM31
As we previously reported, WWE has gone to great lengths to keep indy wrestling promotions out of the San Jose area over WrestleMania 31 weekend.
According to The Wrestling Observer, the Highspots and WWN Live crews have been able to secure hotels and locations for conventions, however Ring of Honor is currently undecided about running events in San Jose as they have been unable to secure a location.
WWE has tried to lock groups out of San Jose, as facilities will not rent to wrestling organizations. San Jose State University is reportedly not renting to wrestling organizations, so many of the groups, should they decide to run events in San Jose, might have to resort to more rural locations.
