WWE Live Event Results
5/22/14 in Liege, Belgium
1)Cody Rhodes, Goldust, The Miz and Big E defeated Jack Swagger, Titus O'Neill, Justin Gabriel en Tyson Kidd (w Zeb Colter).
Note: The heels came out as one group and all did the pose and yelled We the people.
It was a typical 8-man tag. Every superstar got his moves in and the match ended with a big Ending on Justin Gabriel
2)Rusev (w Lana) defeated Zack Ryder.
Great Promo from Lana. Rusev wasn't called Bulgarian anymore. He was referred to as Putin's superathlete. Also the was no Bulgarian flag on the Titantron. We saw the Russian flag and pictures of Poetin, The Kremlin and the Russian Army.
The match was like the matches against R-Truth en Woods. Ryder got some offense in but in the end he got crushed by Rusev. After the match Rusev returned to put Ryder again in his submission hold.
3)Paige defeated Tamina Snuka en Natalya in a Triple Threat match for the Divas Championship.
Good solid Divas match. Paige really can wrestle and looks great in the ring. Paige pinned Tamina
4)Big Show defeated Kane in a Last Man Standing Match.
Very slow match. Luckily there were some attributes used to make it more interesting. We saw Chairs, Kendo stick and a Table.
The match ended with a chokeslam from the steel chairs (in the ring) through a table.
After the match Kane attacked 2 referees and tried to chokeslam them. Maddox came out to stop Kane. He could talk Kane out of chokeslamming the referees but got chokeslammed instead.
Intermission
5)Emma and Santino Marello defeated Layla and Fandango.
People could choose between a dance off or a Mixed Tag team and with almost 100% they chose Mixed Tag Team. It was a fun comedy match but nothing special.
6)Bad News Barrett defeated RVD for the Intercontinental Championship.
Pat Patterson came out as special ring announcer. BNB told him to get out of the ring cause he is Old News. And he is afraid he got some BAD news. He wil destroy RVD even worse then he did on raw.
Match was a good and solid match with nice moves from both athletes but ended in a rollup victory for BNB.
After the match BNB came back to attack RVD but RVD got the upper hand and did a 5 star frog splash.
6.The Shield def Randy Orton and Rybaxel
Best match of the evening and mostly thanks to the Shield. Randy Orton was hardly used in the match meaning Rybaxel got the most of the punishment. Match ended with a spear from Reigns to Ryback.
Great events with solid matches but nothing great.
