TNA Impact Wrestling Results

New TNA World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young comes out and says this title represents a lifetime of work. He says he will defend his title whenever and wherever, then Dixie Carter cuts him off and takes responsibility for his win. She says she kept him around when he nearly got fired, and she let him grow his beard out before it was cool to do. Eric says he thought Bully Ray got rid of her, and they don't need her, but Dixie reminds him MVP is in control of wrestling operations, but she is still the boss. Dixie says he is more interested in being the court jester for the fans, but Eric says he's his own man and he's not going to be her paper champion.
Dixie says she needs to think bigger and she wants to give him a championship makeover, and he had better do it, or she implies to fire ODB. Bully comes out and says he doesn't want Eric's spotlight, he just wants to take out the trash (Dixie), and he calls Dixie horrible for holding Eric down. Bully starts to sing the 'hey hey goodbye' song and Jeremy Borash holds the ropes as she leaves, then he tells the fans to listen. He puts Eric over as a champion to be proud of, and he says he likes and respects him, which doesn't happen very much.

Velvet Sky (w/ Angelina Love) vs Madison Rayne
Velvet waits on the ramp with a kendo stick but Madison runs in from behind and hits her, then the referee backs Angelina away as Madison stomps Velvet. She rolls her in but Velvet smashes her head on the mat, then he sends her into the corner and chokes her before whipping her. Madison slams her head into the turnbuckles and Angelina pulls Velvet outside, then Madison pulls their hair but they snap her head on the ropes. Velvet hits Madison a few times with a cookie sheet, then Madison hits her with a trash can as Angelina slides a kendo stick in the ring. Madison throws her back out of the ring, then Velvet swings with the kendo stick but Madison ducks and rolls her up for the win.
Winner – Madison Rayne
