Even More on John Cen's Raw "Injury" Last Night
Last night we reported that the John Cena injury on Raw last night was indeed a work, and Cena was not taken to a medical facility following the Raw taping.
PWInsider.com is now confirming the injury was part of the angle and Raw script, as the stretcher spot was indeed scripted into the show prior to the taping last night. The stretcher could even be seen ready and in place at the top of the entrance ramp before the beatdown segment took place between Cena and The Wyatt Family.
In addition to potentially making Cena appear to be less than 100% prior to his WrestleMania match against Bray Wyatt, WWE might be running more injury type angles in the future to help drive viewers to the WWE Network post-shows so fans can get "follow-up" information.
