Several websites are reporting that Kevin Nash (aka Diesel) has checked in at the hotel in Pittsburgh, PA that the WWE roster is staying at for this weekend's Royal Rumble pay-per-view. While this could be a potential spoiler that "Big Daddy Cool" might be making his return in the Rumble match, Nash is primarily in town to host a Rumble Kickoff party with members of the RIng of Honor roster tonight.
In the past, former stars have been more than welcome to stay at the WWE hotel if they are in town, to catch up with old friends. In 2012 Wrestlezone ran a post-show party following the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in Chicago. Our special guest was one half of the New Age Outlaws, Billy Gunn, who was also invited to stay at the WWE hotel the night of the event.
While we can neither confirm or deny at this point whether Nash will be involved in the Royal Rumble match this Sunday, it is far from a guarantee that he will compete.
