Update: The Latest on AJ Styles’ ROH Status and Current Situation with TNA, Possible Reason Why TNA Negotiations Fell Through

aj styles roh As we reported a couple weeks ago, AJ Styles was in the midst of negotiating a new deal with TNA, and at the time is was all but a lock that he would be returning to the company. However, negotiations with TNA broke down and it's now being said that Styles is completely done with TNA and will not be returning to the company anytime soon.

PWInsider.com is reporting that there had been speculation of TNA and ROH working together, but that is not the case, and this is not part of some elaborate TNA story line.

Prior to negotiating with TNA on a new deal, Styles was talking to ROH about returning to the company in 2014, however those talks halted when Styles began negotiating with TNA.

In the midst of Styles negotiating with TNA, Jeff Jarrett announced his resignation from the company, and sources close to Styles claim he took that as a sign that all was not right with TNA, and that might have played a large part in Styles' decision not to return to the company.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
