WWE Raw starts off with The Shield guarding the ring until Triple H comes out with his King of Kings by Motorhead theme song. Triple H says he wants to take us back to a dawning of a new era, the beginning of the future. We show a clip of SummerSlam where Bryan gets hit with a Pedigree and Orton cashes in his Money in the Bank briefcase. He says that Orton winning was best for business. They show a highlight of last week where Daniel Bryan got attacked by The Shield and hit with an RKO by the WWE Champion. He calls that attack personal and says he humiliated Daniel Bryan because of his actions against his wife. Triple H says he is willing to be a business man with Daniel Bryan and talks about the ratings on Raw last week. Triple H brings out Randy Orton and congratulates him on breathing new life to the WWE. The Game gives Orton a gift and the gift is a Cadillac Escalade. Randy Orton says that he is grateful and that he is the only guy that should be the WWE Champion.
Out comes Daniel Bryan to an incredible pop. Daniel says that Randy's new ride is sweet and a well-deserved gift. He goes on to say that he needs to thank some people. Bryan thanks everyone in the WWE Universe because he is not the biggest, strongest, and prettiest guy in the WWE but is supported by everyone. He also thanks John Cena for giving him the opportunity to wrestle in the main event at SummerSlam for the WWE Championship because Triple H would have never given him that opportunity. Bryan ends up thanking Triple H for ending the charade and finally showing his true colors at SummerSlam. He says Triple H's view of what is best for business is misguided like Vince McMahon's. He calls Triple H a "sell-out in a suit." Randy Orton yells at Bryan and says he deserves respect. He gets interrupted by Daniel Bryan and says that when gets his rematch at Night of Champions, his face will be rearranged. Daniel Bryan proclaims that he will become the new WWE Champion. Triple H sings "When you wish upon a star" and says it makes a difference in the real world. Triple H calls Bryan a "B" at best. He says Bryan's opportunity at proving himself begins when he fights Seth Rollins tonight. When, and if, he beats Rollins then he will face Dean Ambrose and then Roman Reigns. Triple H says he is going to give him the gift of justice in The Shield in a Guantlet Match. Triple H talks down to Daniel Bryan and says he believes in him and this is what is best for business.
Cody Rhodes vs. Fandango
Damien Sandow is on commentary. Cody Rhodes takes down Fandango quickly until Fandango punches Rhodes into the corner. Rhodes counters with a high elbow and a front suplex. Fandango rolls to the outside and his music hits. Out comes The Miz with Rosa Mendes and he is dressed as Fandango. Rhodes rolls up Fandango on the distraction for the win. Fandango tried to beat up Rhodes until Miz and Rhodes get the better of him. Brad Maddox comes out and makes Miz and Rhodes vs. Sandow and Fandango as we head to a commercial break.
