Why WWE Changed the Cena vs Ryback PPV Stipulation
As seen on Raw this week, the John Cena vs Ryback match at Payback next month will now be a Three Stages of Hell Match – a Lumberjack match, a Tables Match, and if needed, an Ambulance Match.
It's being said that the reason why WWE decided to make the stipulation change is because Vince McMahon wants to do something "epic" and memorable with John Cena at this point in his career. Furthermore, it's being said that the match was changed not necessarily to prolong the Cena/Ryback feud, however no long term plans are in place for Cena at this point.

As we reported earlier this week, there is said to be quite a bit of backstage heat on Mark Henry for his decision to take time off due to being banged up following his Extreme Rules match with Sheamus.
The general rule in WWE is that while the company encourages talents to take time off when their hurt, they will also urge them to work through the pain unless they require surgery or it's something serious like a concussion, neck, or knee injury. The feeling in Henry's case is that it yet to be determined whether or not he needs surgery, and there were big creative plans in place for him, so there is heat on him for deciding to take an extended amount of time off.
The comments made by JBL on WWE TV recently, where he has said Henry "took his ball and went home," are in reference to Henry's decision to take time off.
