Big E Langston comes out and announces Dolph Ziggler as the new world champion, then they head to the ring with AJ Lee and Dolph talks about how great he is. Dolph says people knew he was the future, and this World Heavyweight Championship proves the future is now, and he heard them chant his name at Wrestlemania in a match he wasn’t even in. He says he knows the fans want to be a part of the celebration, but this title and this moment belongs to him, and he won the title in spite of all of them. Dolph says everyone wants to ride his coattails because he’s better than them, then Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter come out and cut him off.
Dolph asks what they want because this is his time, but Zeb says they’ve never been properly introduced and he thanks him as an American. He thanks Dolph for being an American and beating Alberto Del Rio, but Dolph needs to thank Jack Swagger for setting it all up for him. Dolph says Swagger had his shot but he blew it, and this is his scheduled time so he should get lost. Swagger starts to get in the ring but he backs away when Big E steps up, then Zeb says Swagger deserves a shot and he won’t wait for very long. Dolph starts bragging again as they leave, but they get interrupted by Alberto Del Rio and Dolph says he dares him to ask for a rematch right now.
Alberto says he’s not there to complain, but he instead wants to congratulate him because he won the WWE Championship the exact same way. Alberto says he will get a rematch when his ankle heals, but it will be Dolph complaining after he beats him, then he leaves and Dolph screams about being interrupted. Dolph says the next person to cut him off will find out why he is a real world champion, then Chris Jericho comes out and says he is sick of hearing him and tells him to shut the hell up. Jericho calls AJ crazy and the fans start chanting at her, then Dolph tries to calm her while Jericho says he’s the original showoff. He says it’s time to stop talking, and he just got word from Booker T that Dolph’s first match as champion will be against him tonight, and he will never be the same again.
