3/14 TNA Impact Wrestling Results – AJ Styles Returns, Hulk Hogan Empowers the TNA Locker Room

The Aces & Eights beat down on Kurt Angle backstage.

Joseph Park makes his way to the ring in a suit. I wonder what this guy would look like in a mask… Park talks about beating Robbie E in London, and getting another "W" at Lockdown. He reflects on the highlights of his life, which just happens to be standing in an Impact ring in his hometown of Chicago. He puts over the Cubs, which gets a lot of heat from the White Sox fans in attendance. Another try with the Blackhawks, which gets a much bigger pop.

Matt Morgan cuts him off, and the Blueprint makes his way down with an epic beard. Morgan makes fun of Hulk Hogan for failing with Bully Ray, and calls Joseph Park a "walking joke" and an "abortion to the sport of wrestling". He demands Park leave his ring, or he's going to start fixing Hogan's mistakes starting now. The crowd gets behind the hometown hero, but Park starts to leave the ring. Morgan calls Chicago a "dump" and tells him to leave and never come back. Park grabs a microphone and says that in Chicago, we never back down from a fight (that's right!).

Morgan says that things are done on his time, and lays out Park with the Carbon Footprint. Morgan says the match…is next week.

Sting vs. Austin Aries

Aries uses his quickness to out-manuever Sting, and rubs it in his face by posing on the top turnbuckle while Roode laughs from ringside. Sting goes for the Stinger Splash out of nowhere, but Roode pulls his partner out of harms way as the tag champions call for a "time out" on the outside. Sting bails from the ring and hits the Stinger Splash on Roode up against the barricade. Aries heads up to the top rope and tries for an axhandle, but Sting throws Roode into his partner instead.

After a commercial break, Sting is still in control of the match. He turns his attention to Roode once again, and Aries attacks him from behind. Austin gets thrown to the outside for his trouble, and Roode gets involved. Brian Hebner throws Roode from the ring, but Aries takes advantage of the distraction to attack Sting and throw him into the rails. A suicide dive connects to the outside, and the heel is in total control. They roll back into the ring and Aries connects with a dropkick off the second rope.

Sting fights back, but misses a dropkick as Aries holds onto the ropes off an Irish whip. Aries tries to apply the Scorpion Death Lock, but doesn't know how to lock in the hold! Sting throws him off, but again Aries fires back with a dropkick. Sting "no sells" it and pops back up whle Austin Aries is mocking his taunts. Stinger Splash avoided in the corner, and Aries connects with a dropkick to the head and a Splash of his own. He goes up for the Brainbuster, but Sting counters into the Deathdrop. 1…2…Austin kicks out!

Sting locks in the Scorpion Death Lock, but the Aces & Eights hit the ring.

Results: No Contest

Bully tells the A8 to hold up Sting as he yells about using him, and becoming memorable. He asks if Hulk Hogan has the balls to fire them, and calls out everyone's hero as they cut to a commercial break. When they come back, the Aces & Eights are still in the ring waiting for Hogan. The Hulkster's music hits and he makes his way out to the entrance ramp on crutches.

Hulk says that firing Bully Ray would be the easy way out, and he's not a coward. And for everything he's done to the Hogan family, he's not taking the easy way out. He says that from thsi moment on, he's empowering the entire TNA locker room to fight for the company. Jeff Hardy's music hits, and the former World Champion leads a dozen men to the ring and a giant brawl ensues. The Eights take the advantage though, and Bully is focusing most of his attention on Kurt Angle.

The TNA roster is completely taken out, and Bully Ray grabs a microphone and turns his attention towards Hulk Hogan as Impact goes off the air.
