According to PWInsider.com, Brandon Carter was released from his WWE developmental deal last Friday.
Carter competed under the ring name TAC in NXT, and had a background in football having played offensive tackle in college for Texas Tech.
Carter's release comes off the heels of him making comments a few months ago on Twitter in which he said he wasn't afraid to be released like some other talents that were "playing it safe."
As WZ reported last week, WWE talent releases have been expected, and thus far we've seen the release of Trent Barreta, and NXT stars Skyler Moon and Brandon Carter. We also received word that Billy Gunn has been rumored to replace Bill DeMott as the head trainer of NXT.
