Mt. Killamanjaro — @MikeKillam
TNA, Impact Wrestling, Hulk Hogan and all the minds behind the product have more to prove tonight, with this one show, than ever before. This is Bound for Glory – the Championship Finals of TNA and the WrestleMania of Impact Wrestling. Their product has been on fire for months, delivering quality PPV one after another, developing long, umbrella storylines and certainly hitting home with a superior in-ring product each and every week. But tonight, for the sake of all the fans that have rallied behind TNA in 2012 – for all the dedicated “TNA Maniacs” that have been pushing the little engine that could – this is the night to win over the on-the-fence fans, and silence the haters once and for all.
This is Bound for Glory!
Traditionally this is the part of the month where I come out and lay all my predictions on the line. Not this time. Yesterday I participated in a Round Table discussion, of sorts, which has recently been uploaded to Wrestlezone.com [LINK] for your viewing pleasure. Save us all a lot of time and effort, and check that out!
Tonight I’m going to let Bound for Glory speak for itself. It’s a great card coming off the heels of a hot streak of stellar pay-per-view events, with several well built-up matches and a main event scene that should be able to sell just about any wrestling fan out there. I’ve definitely got a lot riding on this show tonight. For months people have called me a “TNA mark” and laughed off my attempts to sell them on what I firmly believe to be a superior wrestling product. And if they disappoint tonight – and I mean by MY standards, not the ridiculous anti-TNA standards that are never going to change no matter how good a show they put on – my resolve will definitely take a major hit. So I’m begging you TNA, if there was ever a time to show up and disprove all the haters, let that night be tonight.
To borrow a line from an increasingly annoying Raw theme song: “tonight is the night”.
