Laurinaitis Training
PWInsider.com reports John Laurinaitis began training this week in the ring. Laurinaitis used the rings in WWE's warehouse in Connecticut to begin getting ready for his match at Over The Limit against John Cena. Laurinaitis is expected to have to wrestle in the match and won't be replaced by another superstar.
WWE Scouting Amateurs
WWE's Gerald Brisco was at the Olympic trials in Iowa City last week. Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting he's been heavily scouting amateur wrestlers for WWE to sign. Reportedly Brisco and WWE management is very impressed with a Greco-Roman heavyweight from Turkey but he doesn't know English and that is currently what is preventing any deal from getting done. The wrestler stands at 6 foot 5 inches and weighs in at 285lbs.
