Sting comes out and he says Hulk has brainwashed Kurt Angle because he is trying to get Fortune to turn on each other, and Sting says his plan will backfire. He says he wants to tell him why and asks for Bobby Roode to come out there, and Sting says he has momentum and he is a fan favorite. Sting tells him he believes in him beating Kurt for at Bound For Glory, and he says Roode can do it because he is looking at championship caliber, but he can't let Kurt get in his head. He asks Roode to convince him that he is focused, and Roode says the support is amazing and he can't describe what he is feeling. Roode says he is focused and he promises everyone, including himself that he is walking out of Philadelphia as the champion.
He asks Sting to also make him a promise, and he wants Sting to get rid of Hulk for good so that they can get the company back to where it belongs. AJ Styles comes out to the ring and he says everything is OK, but he wants to tell Roode to take this opportunity and make the best of it. He says he hasn't had a shot in a long time, and it won't happen unless you are friends with the right people, so he needs to take the opportunity and run with it. Kurt Angle comes out and says this is exactly why he booked the match between Roode and AJ, because AJ would look good by beating Roode. He tells Sting and says he took his anger out on him because of his former boss, but says she won't ever run the company again. Kurt mentions a title shot again, and promises AJ will get one, because he knows that's what he really wants.

Alex Shelley vs Zema Ion vs Kid Kash vs Jesse Sorenson vs Brian Kendrick
Zema whips Kendrick into the guardail then Shelley dropkicks a ladder into his head, and Jesse kicks it into Shelley's ribs. Kash kicks Jesse from behind then DDT's him onto the ladder, taunts the fans and sets it up to go after the contract. Kendrick cuts him off with a dropkick then he starts climbing, but Zema tops the ladder and throws Kendrick outside. Shelley drop toe holds Zema into the ladder then they trade punches until Zema leaps over the top rope and hits Kendrick with a moonsault.
