Hi, my name is Jake Altersitz and I’m a long time WWE fan. My girlfriend and some friends were in attendance for the 8/25 Smackdown/ECW taping.
First of all, I want to thank the WWE for putting on another fantastic show. It really is the best bang for your buck. We were 9 rows from the ring on the side of the entrance ramp, tickets were $45 and we saw over four hours of entertainment!
Dark Match: Alex Riley (who? He came out with a sleeveless lettermans jacket and tights, applying chapstick while he was walking down the ramp. He got on the mic and talked crap to the audience) vs Jimmy Wang Yang. Yang wins via moonsault.
The ECW matches were fun. The crowd was really dead during the tag match. I think Tyler Reks lulled us to sleep. Luckily it wasn’t too long of a match. Christian was way over with the fans. He got two huge pops. I hope thye draft him to one of the main shows next year and keep him in the main event picture.
We got two Superstars matches.
We saw Paul Birchill rollup The Hurricane after Katie Lea interference.
Also Dolph Ziggler won a triple threat match against Finlay and Mike Knox to become the #1 contender for Rey’s IC Title.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
