The following was sent in by Georgiann Makropoulos of WrestlingFigs.com. Yesterday, we posted an exclusive shoot interview with Superstar Billy Graham discussing how he feels Ted DiBiase is a hypocrite for going back and working for the WWE after vowing never to do it again. Below is an excerpt of DiBiase’s response to Graham:
"I really don’t think I need to explain myself any more than I already have. I did, at one point, say I would never go back to the WWE,and was openly critical of the programming at the time. This isn’t news, everybody already knows this. But when approached about going back, I sought the advice of a number of pastors. One of those pastors was Tommy Barnett. He is the pastor of Phoenix First Assembly of God, the church Billy Graham "supposedly" attends.
What they told me was basically this, " Jesus said we must be salt and light to the world. We can’t change anything or help anybody sitting on the sidelines praying for them. We must be amongst them." So, that’s what I did. I went back and did the best I could to show the people who had known me a long time, the difference in my life. I also gave my son permission to go into the business with this condition, don’t ever agree to do anything that compromises your Christian principals, even at the cost of your job. He agreed."
