The following is an excerpt from an interview with Legacy member Ted DiBiase Jr. from the Orlando Sentinel:
So, there’s been a lot of guest hosts on Raw, they’ve been doing it for a while now. What are your thoughts on the guest hosts and what has it been like for you to interact with them?
For me, it’s been awesome. It’s one of the coolest ideas we’ve had in a long time. It’s kind of like a late night show and a wrestling show at the same time. We get to interact with some of the biggest stars in the world. I know we (he and Cody Rhodes) did a promo segment with Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon. I’m in the ring talking with Ozzy and it was an incredible experience. We’ve had movie stars, Bob Barker, we’ve had everybody. We’ve had such a wide array of guest hosts. Marc Cuban got put through a table. All of these athletes – we’ve got Johnny Damon tonight. It’s been really cool. You see that we have huge fans in every aspect of entertainment and sports and I think it just proves that wrestling is bigger than some people give it credit for.
Who would you like to see as a guest host?
Oh gosh…I’d like Arnold (Schwarzenegger). The Governator.
That would be an interesting one.
I think he would be good. I think he’d be fun to interact with.
What are your thoughts on Bret Hart’s name getting dropped on Raw last week?
Man, that was a big surprise to me. I think it would be awesome. I don’t know if he’s gonna do it. I don’t think he will. I hope he does. I really do. I have no idea what the plan is with that.
Were you a fan of his growing up?
Absolutely! He was one of my favorites. I remember when my dad would take me to the show. One time, I was sitting front row and he came over and, what hooked me, was he gave me the glasses. He put the shades on me and I was a huge Bret Hart fan after that. We’ll see what happens.
