WWE RAW Opener:

We open with Chris Jericho with a megaphone outside the building trying to get fans to sign a petition allowing him to come back to Raw.  It’s pretty short and we cut to the Raw opening theme.

John Cena’s music hits and he comes out to the ring.  He looks underneath the ring and pulls out a table.  He slides it into the ring and sets it up.  He sits on the top turnbuckle and starts his promo.  He says he’s excited tonight because he gets a rematch for the WWE Championship.  He thinks they should have the match right now.  Because the fans are so excited, they can’t just have a regular match.  He thinks they should make it a tables match.  A large "Cena" chant breaks out and Sheamus’s music hits and he comes out. 

Sheamus asks Cena if he’s for real.  Cena’s the challenger with something to prove.  He says he doesn’t have to prove anything because he’s the WWE Champion.  That means Raw belongs to him.  Cena says that Raw belongs to the WWE Universe and asks if they are going to have a tables match or not.  Sheamus says it’s his terms and they will NOT have a tables match.  He already beat Cena in a tables match and later tonight, he’s going to beat him a straight-up one on one match.  Sheamus says later tonight, the last Raw of 2009 is going to end with Sheamus standing over Cena’s beaten and battered body.  Sheamus starts to walk out of the ring and Cena jumps down behind him.  Sheamus turns and charges Cena, but gets lifted for an Attitude Adjustment through a table instead. and we cut to break.
