The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the WWE has interest in bringing Shawn Michaels in as the special guest referee for Undertaker’s match at WrestleMania 27. The idea would be that HBK could seek revenge against Taker for beating him in both of their Mania matches and potentially even cause him to lose and break his undefeated streak. The latter scenario seems highly unlikely due to Shawn Michaels’ persistence in claiming that he plans to stay retired.
As Nick Paglino has been reporting here on WrestleZone, Undertaker’s recent surgery is still something of concern in whether he’ll even be ready for a match at WrestleMania next year.
