TNA Roster To Compete In Charity Softball Game

TNA Wrestling is taking the action to the softball field.

On Sunday, July 20, TNA will take over Elmont, New York, for its Slammiversary pay-per-view. The day before, its wrestlers will temporarily trade in their wrestling boots for cleats as they battle the coaching staff of the Merrick Bellmore Little League Association in a charity softball game.

The promotion has announced that a number of its talents will take the field for the company’s first-ever softball game, titled the TNA SLAMMing Softball Classic, at Calhoun High School in Merrick on July 19. The 7-inning game will benefit the Merrick Bellmore Little League, with Frankie Kazarian and Brian Myers leading the team of wrestlers as coaches.

Confirmed players on the TNA softball team include Jeff and Matt Hardy, Joe Hendry, Eddie Edwards, Nic Nemeth, Ryan Nemeth, A.J. Francis, Mustafa Ali, Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, Jason Hotch and John Skyler. Representing the Knockouts division will be Tessa Blanchard, Xia Brookside, Alisha Edwards, Ash By Elegance, Heather By Elegance, and others.

Admission to the SLAMMing Softball Classic is $20 USD. All proceeds will go to the Merrick Bellmore Little League.

The first pitch is scheduled for 5 pm local time. Attendees will have an additional opportunity to meet their favorite TNA stars in post-game meet-and-greet sessions.

Tickets to The Inaugural SLAMMing Softball Classic are available here.

TNA Slammiversary will emanate from the UBS Arena in Elmont, with Joe Hendry and Mike Santana notably set to challenge Trick Williams for the TNA World Championship
