A lot of fans and critics weren’t thrilled with the WrestleMania 41 main event between Cody Rhodes and John Cena.
WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes was a recent guest on Busted Open Radio. When asked about those who weren’t satisfied with the main event of WrestleMania 41, Rhodes shouldered the blame and said he hopes to take things across the finish line with the rematch at SummerSlam.
“SummerSlam, I don’t wanna go as far as making any promises,” Rhodes began. “But I can tell you the goal with SummerSlam is if people felt a certain way about WrestleMania, I will put that all on my back and take all the credit and responsibility for perhaps not feeling satisfied. I’d like to get ‘em to the finish line with SummerSlam. Very much looking forward to doing this dance again.” [H/T: Fightful]
John Cena and Cody Rhodes will most likely be the main event of night two of SummerSlam this August.
