Tay Melo has high hopes that AEW will be adding Women’s Tag Team Titles in the near future.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Tay Melo recently spoke with Denise Salcedo. When asked about the rumors going around in recent months about AEW potentially introducing Women’s Tag Team Titles, Melo said she didn’t know much, but that it would be a dream for her and Anna Jay to win them.
“I don’t know much, but I am so happy, I’ve been reading about the tag titles,” Tay Melo said. “So maybe it’s in the future, who knows? TayJay is here and we’re waiting for it. We have been working together since day one, so it’s a dream for us, you know? If it happens, we’re here and we’re coming for it.” [H/T: Fightful]
Melo and Anna Jay have worked off and on as a tag team in AEW since 2020.
