The TNA Slammiversary main event just got bigger!
Last week on TNA iMPACT, Mike Santana defeated AJ Francis in a wild Street Fight. Santana took the mic after the match and called out TNA World Champion Trick Williams and his Slammiversary opponent Joe Hendry.
“When you mention the (TNA) World Title, you mention my damn name,” Santana said. You know what I want right! Joe Hendry, Trick Williams, Mike Santana… the main event (at TNA Slammiversary).”
TNA’s social media team dropped a new video featuring Santino Marella in the aftermath of Mike Satana’s proposition. The TNA Director of Authority confirmed that Trick Williams will now defend his title against both Santana and Joe Hendry in the TNA Slammiversary main event.
“BREAKING: @milanmiracle has listened to the fans and @Santana_Proud has been added to the TNA World Title match at #TNASlammiversary. It will now be @_trickwilliams vs. @joehendry vs. Mike Santana for the TNA World Title LIVE on PPV and TNA+ on July 20 at the UBS Arena on Long Island, NY.”
TNA Slammiversary main event originally featured Trick Williams and Joe Hendry
Joe Hendry found himself back in the TNA World Title picture following the Champions Challenge match two weeks ago. Hendry kicked off the show last Thursday and vowed to bring the world title back to TNA Wrestling.
But what are his odds of reclaiming the world title now that Mike Santana has been added to the TNA Slammiversary main event? It remains to be seen.
The updated card for Slammiversary 2025 is as follows:
- Trick Williams (c) vs. Joe Hendry vs. Mike Santana – TNA World Championship
- Moose (c) vs. Leon Slater – X Division Championship
- TNA World Tag Team Championship Four-Way Ladder Match
WrestleZone will have full coverage of TNA Slammiversary as it airs on July 20.
