WWE NXT Viewership Increases On 6/24, Demo Also Rises

WWE NXT saw an increase in viewership on June 24.

According to Wrestlenomics, NXT averaged 729,000 viewers on Tuesday. The show drew a 0.16 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when an average of 660,000 viewers tuned in. The demo is also up slightly from last week’s show (0.15 rating in the same demographic).

What happened on WWE NXT this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Trick Williams defeating Josh Briggs to retain the TNA World Championship.

Ricky Saints returned to action, picking up a victory over Ashante “Thee” Adonis. The aftermath of the match made it clear his rivalry with Ethan Page is far from done.

Elsewhere on the show, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo defeated Tony D’Angelo to win the vacant NXT Heritage Cup.

In the main event of the evening, Jordynne Grace defeated Lash Legend, Izzi Dame, and Jaida Parker to earn a title shot at WWE Evolution 2 against Jacy Jayne.
