Vickie Guerrero Claims She’ll Be Back With WWE Soon

EXCUSE ME! Is Vickie Guerrero on her way back to WWE?

Guerrero was a regular on-air character in WWE for several years, including her run as the General Manager for SmackDown and RAW. Vickie left her full-time role with the company in 2014, but made sporadic appearances until she joined AEW in 2019.

Fightful (via Fightful Select) is reporting that Vickie Guerrero has told several people recently that she’ll be back in WWE “for some things” soon. According to the outlet, Vickie said her return would be “in a few weeks.” It was noted that while Vickie’s specific bookings were not explicitly confirmed, Evolution 2 is in a few weeks.

In March 2023, Guerrero announced she was leaving AEW when her contract expired in July of that year. Vickie previously claimed that her joining AEW caused WWE to cut her off. However, it looks like they repaired the relationship, as she was backstage and shown on-screen at a WWE SmackDown taping in September 2024. That post-show segment also saw Vickie pitching the eventual dumpster match between Chelsea Green and Michin.

Vickie Guerrero has maintained a low profile in public since leaving AEW. She currently works as a travel agent in Texas.

WWE Evolution takes place in Atlanta on Sunday, July 13. As of now, the only confirmed participants on the show are Jacy Jayne and Jordynne Grace, who will face off for the NXT Women’s Championship.
