WWE Unreal is coming to Netflix.

The trailer for WWE: Unreal dropped in the lead-up to WrestleMania 41, and now we know more information about the series.

Netflix announced the show will premiere on Tuesday, July 29, 2025. The series will consist of 5 episodes that have a run time of 50 minutes each.

According to Netflix, the synopsis for WWE Unreal is as follows: “For the first time ever, step into the WWE writer’s room and outside the ring with your favorite WWE Superstars, where the drama is just as intense offstage as it is under the spotlight.”

What can fans expect from WWE Unreal?

Chelsea Green hinted that fans will witness plenty of behind-the-scenes chaos on the show. During an appearance on the Lightweights Podcast, Chelsea Green revealed her excitement about the project, teasing what’s in store.

“Well, you’re already gonna see the chaos I cause, possibly, on this new Netflix show. [Green was asked if she could speak more on that] I don’t think so… I really don’t know. I really be dropping hints about this Netflix show all the time and I’m like, I have no idea what we’re allowed to speak on and what we’re not allowed to speak on. But what I do know is I don’t have a filter. They announced it. It’s called ‘Unreal. I only know what I filmed. I don’t know who else has filmed. Everyone at WWE is so tight-lipped and I’m not.”

The trailer also revealed some nixed WrestleMania 41 plans, which led to some interesting reactions. Fightful Select later reported that some WWE Superstars found out about the original plans from the Netflix teaser. Asuka’s name was also mentioned in the trailer, but she did not make her official return to WWE until last week.
