The finals for the WWE King and Queen of the Ring tournaments have officially been set, with the final two superstars advancing.
On Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, Jade Cargill made her way to the finals. In a big win over Roxanne Perez. Cargill eventually won after hitting a massive Powerbomb and then a Jaded for the win.
Later in the night, it was Cody Rhodes‘ turn to make his way to the finals. In a match with his longtime friend and former WWE Tag Team Champion partner Jey Uso, Rhodes came out on top. He won after hitting a big Cross Rhodes late to cement his place in the finals.
The winners of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments will receive a respective championship match at WWE SummerSlam. Randy Orton will now face off against Rhodes. On the women’s side, Asuka and Cargill face off in what promises to be an incredible match.
King and Queen of the Ring was last held last year, with its own official event also in Saudi Arabia. That show saw Gunther defeat Randy Orton in the King of the Ring tournament, while Nia Jax beat Lyra Valkyria in the Queen of the Ring final.
