Huge NXT Title Match Set for Tuesday

Last week on NXT, the General Manager of the show, Ava Raine, announced that the NXT Heritage Cup will be on the line this week in a traditional Heritage Cup match between the champion Noam Dar and former NXT World Tag Team Champion Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo.

But unfortunately, earlier this week, Noam Dar suffered an injury and was forced to vacate his NXT Heritage Cup. Ava Raine took to Twitter to announce that the new champion will be crowned this Tuesday night. Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo will be one of the stars wrestling in the title match.

“Due to injury, Noam Dar will not be able to compete this Tuesday and will have to relinquish the NXT Heritage Cup Championship. This Tuesday, Stacks will compete in a match to crown a new Heritage Cup Champion against an opponent to be named. @WWENXT,” Ava Raine tweeted.

Last night, Luca Crusifino announced on Twitter that he had spoken with the NXT General Manager and confirmed that the Heritage Cup match will be between Lorenzo and the former NXT Heritage Cup Champion Tony D’Angelo.

Crusifino mentioned that he got D’Angelo this match to prove his loyalty to the Don.

“You wanted me to prove my loyalty? You don’t have to trust what I say, trust the move I just made. That’s loyalty. @WWENXT @WWE @TonyDangeloWWE,” Luca Crusifino tweeted.

The Don of NXT also sent a video message on Twitter thanking Cricifino for getting him another match against Lorenzo.

The last time D’Angelo and Lorenzo wrestled each other in a one-on-one match was at the NXT Battleground Premium Live Event. The former Underboss won the match thanks to a distraction from Crusifino.

Can the Don of NXT become a two-time NXT Heritage Cup champion?
