KSI Was Banned From Using Current AEW Star’s Theme At WWE Fanatics Fest Exhibit

This weekend in New York was another special Fanatics Fest event. Many celebrities were present at the event. WWE’s John Cena, Kevin Owens, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, and many more. Popular YouTube stars, The Sidemen, were also at the event. One of the Sidemen is one of Logan Paul’s best friends, Olajide Olatunji, more popularly known as KSI.

KSI was set to make an appearance at the WWE section. He was scheduled to make a special entrance. KSI had livestreamed his and the Sidemen’s experience at Fanatics Fest New York City. During the livestream, the British YouTuber was talking to his fellow Sideman, Josh, mentioning that he had asked WWE management if he could walk out to Christian Cage’s theme song during his entrance. But his request was denied.

The British YouTuber and Boxer rather walked out to the theme song of WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin.

KSI has made a couple of appearances on WWE shows in the past. His first appearance was at WrestleMania 39. He tried to help his buddy Logan Paul during his match against Seth Rollins. Olatunji also made an appearance during an episode of Friday Night SmackDown. At WrestleMania, he got Frogsplashed through the table. During his appearance on the blue brand, he got RKO’d by Randy Orton.

Christian’s WWE theme is called “Just Close Your Eyes.” The song was originally performed by Waterproof Blonde for WWE, and it was later updated by Story of the Year for use in WWE. However, it’s likely not going to be a choice at an event like Fanatics Fest due to Christian being a current AEW star. There, he uses a song that’s similar to his TNA theme song, which is also heavily influenced by “My Last Breath” by Evanescence.
