Bubba Ray Dudley Believes BJ Ray Could Be WWE’s Home-Grown Logan Paul

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray believes BJ Ray has the potential to become WWE’s home grown version of Logan Paul.

As WWE LFG returns with Season 2, which premiered June 22 on A&E, 16 new and returning competitors will compete for a chance to earn a WWE NXT contract. This season features teams led by Hall of Fame coaches The Undertaker, Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, and Michelle McCool.

In an interview with TV Insider, Bully Ray confirmed that his controversial team member BJ Ray will appear in Season 2. He expressed hope that BJ has learned from his previous experience, noting that BJ has the potential to become WWE’s home grown version of Logan Paul.

“You’re going to see BJ this season. I know everyone wants to know what type of interaction there will be with BJ Ray and Bubba Ray Dudley. Things were tense last year. Here’s what I hope for this season. I hope he learned from Season 1. BJ has lots of potential and so much charisma and personality. He can be a home-grown Logan Paul for WWE. But you have got to get it, and you have to be able to get it in the ring. All of the feedback you heard from myself and other legends was, yeah BJ, you have it on the personality side, but in the ring, you’re just not getting the job done. Hopefully, he can put the two together and improve and evolve in the ring and turn into the version of BJ Ray I think we all hope he can turn into.”

In Season 1, fans witnessed a controversial relationship between Bubba Ray Dudley and BJ Ray. Despite the tension, Dudley chose to mentor him. However, the two often clashed throughout the season.
