WWE changed Jordynne Grace‘s entrance theme last night on NXT, and the live crowd voiced their displeasure for the track. Now it’s Grace’s turn to respond.
The NXT Superstar took to social media this afternoon to address the backlash to her new entrance theme. Basically asking fans to give it a chance, tweeting out:
“I know what the streets are saying, but yall better suspend that disbelief and vibe with it, GOT IT?” Jordynne Grace said in a post.
When a fan in attendance last night made it clear it isn’t something the NXT fans will vibe with, Grace responded as only the Juggernaut could, tweeting back:
“Lmk what you gonna wear next week so I can jump the barricade real quick,” Jordynne Grace said in response.
Why did WWE change Jordynne Grace’s theme?
So, if Grace owns her TNA theme, something that fans love, why would WWE change it?
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), WWE has become adamant in recent months that they need to own the entrance themes heard on their programming.
Beyond that, Sapp reports that WWE had an issue with the sirens at the beginning of the theme. Which, in their mind, sounds too close to Bron Breakker’s current entrance theme.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on when WWE will eventually get rid of Def Rebel when it becomes available.
