D-Von Dudley Reveals When He Felt He Finally Arrived In Wrestling

D-Von Dudley recalls when he felt he had finally arrived in the world of wrestling.

On the WWE Hall of Famer’s YouTube channel, D-Von recalled the first year The Dudleys were included in WWE’s video games, believing his inclusion in the video game meant he had finally arrived.

“The video game is a huge, huge number that you can get a large merchandise check from,” D-Von Dudley said. “Think about all the video games that are being sold out there, and now, all of a sudden, you get a percentage of that. I gotta tell you, it was a mind-boggling experience.

“It was something that I, still to this day, can’t believe sometimes. A little kid from Brooklyn, New York, is now on a video game. For me, it was such a huge deal. I remember just celebrating with my family at the time, how me and Bubba were just on top of the world.

“It was the first time that anything that I had ever done in the wrestling business meant so much to me, because I had did all the blood, sweat and tears leading up to me getting on that video game, and I had finally arrived and to be in a video game with The Rock, Triple H, Mankind, Mick Foley, the Big Show.

“The list goes on and on. I was so happy about that that I can honestly say that was when I truly knew that I had arrived. So even to this day, I am still in video games. I’m still very active in merchandise that the WWE puts out.” [H/T: Fightful]
