It seems Matt Cardona doesn’t want other wrestlers stealing his gimmicks.
Since her WWE departure, Shotzi Blackheart has taken the independent scene by storm, referring to herself as Cardona’s trademarked names “Indy God” and “Death Match King.”
Matt Cardona took to social media this afternoon, stating that Shotzi had 24 hours to apologize or he would be sending his attorney, Mike Dockins, after her, tweeting out:
“@ShotziWWE has 24 hours to publicly apologize to me and take down all posts referring to herself as Indy God and Death Match King. The United States of America recognizes ME as BOTH!
I don’t want to send @gimmickattorney after you…but I will!
THIS IS NOT A JOKE,” Matt Cardona said in a post.
Blackheart responded, but it wasn’t the apology Cardona asked for, tweeting back:
“ALL HAIL the NEW Indy God Deathmatch King SHOTZI FN BLACKHEART,” Shotzi Blackheart said in response.
Cardona claims this situation isn’t a joke. However, we imagine this is being done to set up a match between the two WWE Superstars at GCW in the near future.
Blackheart also has an action figure currently being produced by Cardona.
