WWE SmackDown Viewership Increases On 6/6, Demo Also Rises

WWE SmackDown saw an increase in viewership on June 6 while going head-to-head with the NHL Stanley Cup Finals.

According to Wrestlenomics, SmackDown averaged 1.424 million viewers on Friday. The show drew a 0.42 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode, when an average of 1.383 million viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week’s show (0.34 rating in the same demographic).

What happened on WWE SmackDown this week?

This week’s show kicked off with a promo from Seth Rollins and his faction. They are interrupted by Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and JC Mateo. The back and forth is interrupted by Jimmy Uso, which leads into the first match of the evening.

Jimmy defeated JC Mateo after a miscommunication between Mateo and Jacob Fatu.

Elsewhere on the show, Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Alexa Bliss defeated Roxanne Perez, Naomi, and Giulia.

In the closing segment of the evening, John Cena and Logan Paul interrupted Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso’s promo and laid them out to end the show.
