Bully Ray Explains Why Mike Santana Will Be A Bigger Star In TNA Than Joe Hendry

It is safe to say that one of the most popular stars in the world of professional wrestling is the Prestigious One, Joe Hendry. He recently lost the TNA World Heavyweight Championship to Trick Williams at the NXT Battleground Premium Live Event. Despite the loss, he remains a popular member of the TNA roster.

Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray explained why one of the newest additions to TNA Wrestling will soon be a bigger star than Hendry. The star is none other than former AEW star Mike Santana.

While speaking on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray mentioned that he sees a lot of potential in Mike Santana. The WWE Hall of Famer believes that Santana will be a much bigger star than the popular Joe Hendry.

“I was about to say, Mike Santana will be a bigger star in TNA than Joe Hendry will. I guarantee it — because Mike Santana has emotional investment. He’s got street cred. Mike Santana is like an Eddie Kingston. I understand why people … people like Joe Hendry because he wrote a cool song and he got some stuff over on social media, and the whole ‘I Believe In Joe Hendry.’ Yeah, I get that. Good stuff. But when it comes to real emotional investment in the ring, it’s a world of difference — and you’re going to see it,” Bully Ray said. [H/T Wrestling INC.]

Tuesday night on NXT, Santana challenged Trick Williams for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Unfortunately, due to some outside interference from AJ Francis and KC Navarro, Santana was unable to capture the world title.
