Mariah May declares Glamour has officially arrived in WWE NXT.
Mariah May made waves with her unexpected debut on the June 3 episode of WWE NXT, immediately turning heads across the women’s division. Wasting no time, she called out the entire roster, including new NXT Women’s champion Jacy Jayne. May boldly stated, “You can call me the next NXT Women’s Champion.”
Mariah May didn’t just shock fans with her WWE NXT debut, as she immediately put the entire women’s division on notice. Following her surprise appearance, she sent a bold message to fans on social media, tweeting, “honey i’m home @WWE @WWENXT.”
The former AEW star didn’t stop there. She also updated her bio, proudly calling herself a WWE Superstar. By calling herself a proud WWE Superstar and declaring she’s home, Mariah May made her intentions clear.
WWE followed up by releasing a exclusive backstage promo, where May stood backstage and delivered her first words following her debut. She said, “It’s about damn time! I’ve wrestled all over the world. And it’s only right that the glamour arrives in NXT.”
While Mariah May made a huge impact following her WWE NXT debut, interestingly, neither she nor the commentary mentioned her name. Could this hint at a new ring name? Only time will tell. After all, former AEW star Ricky Starks also underwent a name change to Ricky Saints.
