Former WWE star Hornswoggle blasted Peter Dinklage’s controversial comments on Disney’s live-action Snow White remake.
In 2022, Dinklage criticized the film during an appearance on WTF with Marc Maron. In that interview, the Game of Thrones star called Disney out for attempting to appear progressive while, in his words, “You’re progressive in one way and you’re still making that f-cking backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together, what the f-ck are you doing, man?”
Hornswoggle, who has long advocated for more opportunities for dwarf performers, expressed his outrage at Dinklage’s remarks and their impact on the little person community. Speaking in an recent interview with Insight with Chris Van Vliet, he explained why he was so upset.
“F*ck you Peter Dinklage, piece of sh*t. F*cking hate him. He cost so many people in my community jobs with that Snow White bullshit, it p*sses me off. I think he wanted to make a statement, and he thought he was making some cool, hip thing. But it wasn’t.
“When he did Elf, that check cashed just fine. Tyrion Lannister was a role for a little person. He cashed that check for all those years. I’m okay not going out for Brad Pitt’s role. Give me Grumpy or Happy or Sleepy. Major Disney remake? Yeah! Come on. Then you’re gonna have seven dwarves. Then there are extras, then there’s stunt doubles that are all gonna get paid. And he f*cked it.”
