WWE To Run A RAW & SmackDown Taping Next Month

WWE is set to host a RAW and SmackDown taping next month.

This afternoon, the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh took to social media to announce that their previously announced RAW event on June 30 will now also include a taping for SmackDown, tweeting out:

“Breaking News: Our previously scheduled WWE Monday Night Raw will now include Friday Night SmackDown on June 30th right here in Pittsburgh! TWO SHOWS, ONE NIGHT! Get your tickets now,” PPG Paints Arena said in a post.

This is being done to allow the SmackDown roster to have off on the 4th of July holiday.

If SmackDown isn’t back to its two-hour format by July, this could be an incredibly long event for fans to sit through later this month. This will also be a long weekend of travel for the WWE roster. As both brands will be in Saudi Arabia 48 hours before this event for Night of Champions.
