After WWE shut down NXT UK in 2022, the company announced plans to turn it into NXT Europe. But nearly three years went by with little to no news until now. Recent reports have delivered a major update, suggesting that WWE could finally introduce NXT Europe before the end of 2025.
According to PWInsider, WWE has started working behind the scenes to bring NXT Europe to life. The company has been spending time and resources on recruiting talent from around the world, and launching this brand seems to be a big part of that plan.
WWE NXT UK ran for four years from 2018 to 2022. It helped launch the careers of top stars like Rhea Ripley, Tyler Bate, Gunther, Pete Dunne, and even current AEW star Toni Storm.
Since WWE already tours Europe regularly and recently held live shows for RAW and SmackDown. The launching the brand in Europe could prove especially valuable. It would give rising stars the chance to debut in front of home crowds and build their momentum from day one.
