WWE SmackDown Results:
Bloodline 3.0?

Fatu looks at Sikoa like he’s crazy. Sikoa says he’s going to bring the World title back to the family when he wins MITB. Sikoa tries to use Fatu’s catchphrases, but Fatu rips the mic out of Sikoa’s hand. Fatu says he’s all gas and no brakes. Sikoa does Fatu’s yaddaamean. Fatu isn’t amused. Sikoa says he loves Fatu, and the fact that he’s still champion proves it. Sikoa asks Fatu to say, “I love you, Solo!” The way he used to. Fatu doesn’t. LA Knight‘s music hits. Knight hops the barricade and pulls JC out of the ring. After landing a few strikes. Knight escapes Fatu and Sikoa.
Grade: C
There was a whole lot of nothing here. Sikoa poked at Fatu to further their eventual split, but Sikoa’s hamming it up to the point where it’s hard to take him seriously. Also, Knight getting his hands on Cobb so quickly is weak.

Solid TV match with a sadly predictable ending.

Gargano and Ciampa attack Frazer and Axiom as soon as the bell rings. Motor City Machine Guns make the save.
Grade: B
This match picked things up considerably, with so many nail-biting nearfalls. At one point, it seemed Ciampa knocked Axiom’s head clear off his shoulders with one of those devastating knee strikes, and that was just to break up a pin. Axiom and Frazer are focused primarily on being flippy dippy (not a knock, but a fact), but they have proven they can hit hard as well. This match proved that. This one could have gone either way, but Fraxiom getting the dup made sense here.

Winner- Aleister Black
After the match, Black drops Miz with Black Mass. Hayes chop blocks Black. Hayes leaves Black lying after Nothing but Net.
Grade: B+
This was a better contest than the first match these two had. They are building to Black finally landing the Black Mass on Hayes, which is a fun way to keep these two in each other’s vortexes. If tonight was any indication, and with Hayes and Black’s propensities for putting on high-quality in-ring contests, this writer is hugely excited for the series of matches we will get out of this feud. Miz being there to play the fool to keep Hayes strong is a high-IQ move to say the least. To everyone who wondered why Miz and Hayes were partnered, this is why.

Winner- Solo Sikoa
After the match, LA Knight hits the ring with a chair. Security tries to separate everyone. SmackDown GM Nick Aldis walks out on the stage and books JC vs. LA Knight right here, right now.
Grade: B
This one was an interesting mix of styles. Fenix continues to look great in each outing. Sikoa is still an effective heel, but as this writer mentioned earlier, his silliness is starting to cut into his previously established aura. Giving Sikoa the win here could lead to us getting another MITB cash-in on a mid-card title.
JC vs. LA Knight
Knight goes behind Meteo. Meteo effortlessly tosses Knight to the mat. Knight gets caught as he tries a crossbody. Meteo lifts Knight into a suplex. Knight escapes and lands a neckbreaker. Knight tries a slingshot, but Meteo catches Knight with the Tour of the Islands for the win.
Winner- JC Meteo
Grade: B-
This was a bizarre way to get our first glimpse of JC Meteo in a WWE ring. This match started off slow—so slow, with Knight weirdly dominating the match. As this one marched on, Meteo started to show some of the offense that those familiar with him are used to seeing. Meteo needs to hit hard, fast, and often if he is going to make an impression on the WWE audience. Meteo’s first match needed to be a total squash, and this wasn’t that.
Backstage, Santos Escobar tries to convince Angel to get Berto back into the fold.

Winner and STILL WWE Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton!
Grade: B
This match was a lot of fun. It had everything you would want. Solid in-ring action, a smidge of chaos with Jade and Naomi, and one of the most disgusting chair dropkicks to ever happen in a wrestling ring. Stratton was channeling the late Sabu with that one. Jax’s head instantly split and, though the camera didn’t shoot it, developed a bit of a crimson mask. The intensity of these two tonight showed through and helped make this one of the better SmackDown main events this year. At some point, you all will have to admit that Jax is on a heck of a run since returning.
WWE SmackDown Review:
While the show had a shaky start, it gradually built toward a rewarding final hour. A few segments fizzled, but standout matches and escalating storylines helped save this show’s overall rating.
