Matt Cardona is aiming to capture the TNA International Championship as he is set to face Steve Maclin at Under Siege.

Now, Cardona has another shot at TNA gold. On the May 15th episode of TNA Impact. He won a four-way match against Elijah, Ace Austin, and Mance Warner. He picked up the victory after hitting his Radio Silence finisher on Austin.
Maclin defended his TNA International Title last week against Eric Young in a brutal Dog Collar Match. Now, Matt Cardona is set to challenge Steve Maclin for the TNA International Title at Under Siege. It will be interesting to see how things play out as Cardona looks to capture Maclin’s championship.
Matt Cardona admits he’s surprised WWE hasn’t brought him back
In a recent interview with Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Matt Cardona was asked if he is surprised that he hasn’t been re-signed by WWE. He admitted that he is surprised but isn’t sure why it hasn’t happened yet.
“Honestly? Yeah. But obviously I’m missing something, I don’t know what it is. Listen, people say to me all the time, especially since we just had WrestleMania, WrestleCon. Thousands of people, probably every other fan, if not every fan, ‘When are you coming back?’ Well, it’s not up to me. Or at the WrestleMania Hotel. Thanks Chelsea for letting me stay in a hotel room for free. Saved me some money. Great hotel. Great Steakhouse, too. But so many people from the office or other wrestlers, ‘Hey, man, when are you coming back?’”
“It’s like, I don’t know. I’ve reached out many times. I shouldn’t say many, a few times, every couple of months when something cool happens or I have something to say, hey, look what I’m doing. There’s been no offer. [Do they write you back?] Of course. Everything’s very nice, professional, but there’s no offer. And you know what? It is what it is, I’m gonna keep working my ass off.”
