Matt Hardy has found his tag team partner to take on the Nemeth Brothers later this month at TNA Under Siege.
Due to Jeff Hardy being unable to travel to Canada, Matt was tasked with finding a tag team partner to challenge the Nemeths for the TNA World Tag Team Titles at Under Siege. Why TNA couldn’t have waited until they were back in the United States to give Matt and Jeff their proper rematch is a different subject for another time.
TNA Wrestling announced on social media this afternoon that Matt Hardy has selected Leon Slater to be his tag team partner at Under Siege, tweeting out:
“BREAKING: @MATTHARDYBRAND has chosen @LEONSLATER_ as his partner to challenge @NicTNemeth and @ryrynemnem for the TNA World Tag Team Titles at #TNAUnderSiege LIVE on TNA+ on May 23 from the CAA Centre in Brampton, Ontario. Get tickets at http://TNAWrestling.com,” TNA Wrestling said in a post.
Here is the current card for TNA Under Siege:
- TNA World Tag Team Championship: The Nemeths (c) vs. Matt Hardy and Leon Slater
- TNA Knockouts Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Victoria Crawford
- Joe Hendry and Elijah vs. Trick Williams and Frankie Kazarian
- Eddie Edwards vs. Cody Deaner
