Gabe Kidd Hilariously Responds To The Rock Wearing a NJPW Shirt

Gabe Kidd responds humorously to The Final Boss, The Rock wearing a NJPW t-shirt.

A few weeks ago, The Rock posted a funny video on Instagram, showing himself trying to solve a Rubik’s Cube while wearing a New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) t-shirt. He captioned the post, “Slightly intellectually intimidated, but keeping faith alive.”

Now, NJPW star Gabe Kidd has reacted to The Rock’s video and his choice of attire. In a recent interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Kidd expressed that he couldn’t care less about what The Final Boss does.

“He’s trying to catch a buzz off of what’s hot. Listen, I couldn’t care less about Dwayne. I don’t care. If he wants to come to New Japan. I’ll slap him up, no problem. It’s Dwayne Johnson, bro. He was in Jumanji 2.” [H/T: Fightful]

Bully Ray blames The Rock for John Cena’s heel turn not working

John Cena shocked the wrestling world when he aligned with The Rock at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto. Fans expected him to explain his sudden heel turn, but as the build-up to his WrestleMania 41 match against Cody Rhodes unfolded.

Cena never addressed why he joined forces with The Final Boss. Meanwhile, The Rock stated that he wanted the “spotlight” to be on Cena during the feud against Rhodes. WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray later shared his thoughts on Busted Open Radio, suggesting that Cena’s heel turn didn’t resonate because The Rock wasn’t involved in the storyline afterward.

Speaking on The Busted Open Radio, Ray mentioned The Rock left a major gap in the storyline which caused fans to lose interest. “The reason why John Cena’s heel turn feels like it didn’t ‘live up to’ its expectations is because we didn’t get the conduit and the conjunction between The Rock,” Bully Ray said. “Without Rock being there, it leaves a giant hole in this whole thing as to why John and The Rock were in the same place at the same time at Elimination Chamber. It’s not like The Rock gave the throat slash to a hard camera or to a side of the arena of fans; he gave the throat slash to John Cena, basically implying that he was telling John Cena what to do.

“We don’t get The Rock. That lets everybody so down that John beating Cody is just like I don’t care. It doesn’t matter to me. You got your 17[th world title] because you left this massive piece of the puzzle out.”
